Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival 2015 Schedule
September 12 - 13, 2015 - San Francisco, California

    The 20th Annual Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival will be held at Ghirardelli Square, San Francisco, California on September 12 and 13, 2015 from 12:00 pm. to 5:00 pm. This two-day chocolate celebration has over 50 vendors who generously donate sample-sized portions of their products to help raise money for Project Open Hand.

Events at the 2015 Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival

Ghirardelli Chocolate and Wine Pavilion
Enjoy premium samples from local wineries and gourmet dessert vendors in the heart of the Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival. This exclusive area of the event will require an additional "Pavilion ticket" good for even more gourmet tastings. This event is only open for Festival guests 21 years and older.

Ghirardelli Chocolate Earthquake Ice Cream Eating Contest
Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival attendees can compete or just witness 6 lucky people eat the famous Ghirardelli "Earthquake" Sundae as fast as they can without hands. Watch competitors battle each other and their own stomachs at this memorable and delicious event. Children also compete with a smaller version of the famous Earthquake Sundae. There are 3 competitions on both Saturday and Sunday.



2015 Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival Events continued

Chocolate School - "From Cocoa Bean to Chocolate Bar"
Steve Genzoli, Ghirardelli's own 'Chocolate Professor', teaches 'Chocolate School' and takes audience members through a tour of the delicious chocolate making process. You will learn every step a bean takes to become a mouth watering chocolate bar from Ghirardelli's VP of Research and Development and Quality Assurance.

Chef Demonstrations
Local culinary professionals work their delicious magic on both Saturday and Sunday at the Culinary Stage at the Festival. You will learn the inside scoop on many delectable delights. Learning has never tasted so good, come and enjoy.
